Applications:

1.  In oil drilling industry,calcium chloride is one of the materials to prepare brines used completion fluids.It can be added to emulsified water phase in Nonaqueous drilling fluids to increase shale stability and prevent swell.It is also used as cement accelerator.

2.  Road snow-melting agent, antifreeze and dust-proof agent.

3.  It is widely used as a desiccant in the industrial field. It can dry industrial gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen and sulfur dioxide.

4.  Calcium chloride aqueous solution is an important refrigerant for refrigerator and ice making.
